Dona has a Master’s degree in the Counselling field and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. Dona is a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals. She is seeking registration as a Psychotherapist in Ontario. She brings warmth and enthusiasm towards the therapeutic alliance, uniquely adapting every client’s experience to their individual needs. Her confidence and skills empower clients to increase their coping and potential through motivation, psychoeducation, and care.
At Toronto Psychological Services, Dona provides clinical counseling to adults and couples presenting with various life concerns. Dona primarily utilizes Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Based (ACT) techniques. She also employs an integrative and holistic approach when useful through Mindfulness, Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), as well as Brief Psychodynamic Therapy (BPT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
